The greatest attraction in the Mara is watching the animals in their natural element;
a lion's roar, a cheetah making a kill, a leopard with it's kill high up on a tree, and the big elephant herds mingling freely with other plains game are all very fascinating events. There are very high chances of seeing all the 'big five'.
You will also meet the Maasai who are the inhabitants of this reserve and are a proud and largely aloof tribe who have held on to their customs and traditions for hundreds of years.
